Computers are fully customizable devices, there are many ways to modify them to increase the performance they offer both hardware and software, but there are also certain implementations which may seem fairly strange at the start. And if we are talking about strange pieces that we can find to implement on a PC, we cannot put aside a type of map of expansion who only has Fans.
To maintain a high performance configuration properly operating, it is necessary to pay particular attention to certain aspects such as cooling, because depending on whether it is better or worse, this will directly affect capacity, it must maintain a certain stability. For this reason, there are various solutions which are very useful, although there are also others which can be quite excessive.
A very special extension card that improves air flow
Las cards of expansion which are on the market provide a large number of additional uses to a PcSome such as graphics cards that are better known because they have managed to become one of the most important components thanks to the usefulness they provide. But there are also others less known but also have their usefulness, such as those used to extend the number of M.2 storage units which may have a computer, others which are used to add Wi -Fi or advanced network functions and even those that make it possible to improve the audio of a computer.
But among all this, there is also a model that certainly does not know too much, because at the beginning, it is quite strange, those which offer an additional number of fans. And is that the main reason they can be so rare is that these type models do not even use the PCIE connector of the plate itself, because they use the connectors for fans or directly from the power connectors.
The objective he has is the one you can imagine, it only serves to try to improve the air flow of the box, although there are also models that aim to eliminate the temperatures generated in the chassis itself.
What types of cards in this style exist?
As with the other PC components this type of cards of Fans Three different styles depending on what they are doing, there are more basic models that simply work like additional fans, others that allow them to be incorporated into a graph and finally those that would be the type of blowing:
- Map of Fans basic: This is a model that simply adds between one and three additional fans, generally uses a bay as a support and, in some cases, it may also have a plastic submission which is inserted in a PCIe X16 location.
- Map of Fans has chart: They generally implement several additional fans and generally use two to three bays, in addition, they can also incorporate a function that allows you to maintain the graphics card in case it is a model despite too much for what also works as a support.
- Map of Fans type fan: A type of extension card that works differently from the other two, instead of stimulating air to improve the flow absorbs it and then remove it in the bay slit, it would be a good option for configurations that accumulate large amounts of heat inside the box.
