With Elena, the last new character of the Year 2 Pass has received an publication date.
With Elena, Capcom brings a last new fighter as part of the Year 2 character Pass in Street Fighter 6. The company confirmed that the Capoeira fighter will enrich the roster from June 5, 2025 on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PC (via Steam).
Elena is not an unknown in the franchise and also comes in Street Fighter 6 with her Brazilian martial art inspired by Capoeira. The character is accompanied by a new stage called Reniala Remains in the middle of wild animals and the nightly levels of Africa.
There are also two outfits for the spirited fighter: Outfit 1 is a new look that is supposed to underline Elena's fitness, while Outfit 2 is more to understand as an iconic style from Street Fighter III: New Generation and Ultra Street Fighter IV.
Rhino Horn: A sequence faster and forward -directed. The opponents: inside is effectively thrown back and into the corner.
Scratch Wheel: Known as Elena's “Dragon-Punch”, this move is a useful anti-air attack to keep opponents: stay away from the inside.
Lynx Song: When it gets wild, Elena whirls forward on the ground while it cannot be hit by projectile. You can use the four different techniques Leopard Snap, Harvest Circle, Mallet Smash or Lynx Whirl.
- Leopard Snap: An attack with a large reach. It is ideal for reducing the distance.
- Harvest Circle: A kick that the opponent: hurls into the air and maintains invincibility against projectile.
- Mallet Smash: A low-profile overhead step.
- Lynx Whirl: Elena carries out an additional revolution to extend Lynx song. If Leopard Snap, Harvest Circle or Mallet Smash are used to Lynx Whirl, your properties will be “boosted!”
Spinning Scythe: As seen in previous iterations, a series of rotating kicks is carried out, which can be interrupted for Leopard Snap, Harvest Circle, Mallet Smash and Lynx Whirl in order to get the pressure for opponents: inside.
Moon Glider: An alternative technology in which Elena travels before she performs a vertical rotation that the opponents: spin into the air inside.
Meteor Volley: Elena's Level 1 Super Art, which can be used as an effective anti-air move with a follow-up attack.
Revival Dance: Elena's Level 2 Super Art, in which she plunges forward with a jump attack and a wild vertebra, while she is immune to all attacks. If you press “below” after a hit, Elena can even restore her health!
Song of the Grasslands: Elena's Level 3 Super Art hurls opponents: inside the air, who then feel the power of nature through steps!
The release of Elena in Street Fighter 6 is accompanied by a large balance patch, which will bring changes for all other 25 characters in the game. In addition, Capcom promises far -reaching system changes – details follow in the detailed patch notes shortly before publication.
On June 5, 2025, Street Figher 6 will also be released in the new Years 1-2 Fighters Edition with all the delivered characters and stages. This edition appears not only for the existing platforms mentioned above, but also for the new switch 2.
