Last month, Apple released revise 13.4 of Homepod software and, although it does not have new user features, it represents a a radical change on Apple smart speaker.
The prestigious magazine about Apple, 9to5Mac, is completely crass new firmware Homepod and found that it was now rooted tvOS instead of IOS. Is this change important to the user?
Minor changes for the user
The first point we must make clear watchOS, tvOS and operating system for Homepod (Apple has never given a specific name to it), in fact, it's iOS. Why is Homepod now using tvOS?

One possible reason for this change from the apple company is that, like Apple TV, Homepod functions as a Homekit hub. This remains a simple end-user document, one that will be of great interest to Apple's new generation of smart speaker.
