The prestigious magazine about Apple, 9to5Mac, is completely crass new firmware Homepod and found that it was now rooted tvOS instead of IOS. Is this change important to the user?

Minor changes for the user

The first point we must make clear watchOS, tvOS and operating system for Homepod (Apple has never given a specific name to it), in fact, it's iOS. That is, the core that makes all Apple applications except MacOS is part of the core of iOS. The basic difference between all of these things is greatly improved by Apple's tendency integration, APIs and adaptation configurations with each device.

Since version 13.4, Homepod's internal software no longer comes directly from the operating system that provides the iPhone, however tvOS, Apple TV OS. We emphasize the fact that this does not mean that there is a change in the user, because everything will continue to work as it has until now.

This change may be caused by a Homepod divider on your iPhone or iPad: do not depend on the battery for it to work. IOS requires power generation to be saved battery life, Apple TV with tvOS that you don't need, and Homepod too.

One possible reason for this change from the apple company is that, like Apple TV, Homepod functions as a Homekit hub. This remains a simple end-user document, one that will be of great interest to Apple's new generation of smart speaker.
