A new week is coming and the big Triple-A releases are still rare. Only at Bethesda there is something new for Fallout 76 with Wastelanders, although in principle it is an update despite its scope. Smaller but no less entertaining games have an even greater chance of a moment in the spotlight. We'll tell you which new PC title from April 14th to 17th, 2020 are worth a look all the time.
Industries of Titan
Release: April 14, 2020 (Early Access)
Platform: Epic Games Store
Genre: Development strategy
Do you feel like building a strategy? Then this week's release of Industries of Titan could be just the thing for you. You may not expect a build blockbuster like Anno 1800, but Industries of Titan excels in its own way.
In the game we primarily have the task of building our very own sci-fi city on Saturn's moon Titan. The end result of our efforts is strongly reminiscent of dystopian future scenarios in which industrial progress has taken on grotesque forms.
In Industries of Titan, too, it's mainly about designing a complete industrial city, optimizing production chains and, to make matters worse, there are other influential competitors behind you. If the competition gets too cheeky, you can oppose them in addition to politics and economics and specially designed battleships:

Deadside
Release: April 14, 2020 (Early Access)
Platform: Steam
Genre: Survival
Even if Deadside looks like another DayZ free-rider at first glance, should Survival fans and shooter lovers don't shoot the title too quickly in the wind. Deadside offers a very ambitious gaming experience and primarily relies on a grim realism.
You won't find any supernatural aspects like wandering undead here. Instead, no less dangerous NPC factions are waiting for you in the wild. So even if you're safe from snappy zombies here, a whole group of wild cannibals could be lurking in Deadside instead.
But there are also factions with which you can ally and in multiplayer, of course, sometimes more or less friendly players. Also special are the so-called "Green Zones", in which you are safe from attacks and are allowed to trade with other survivors undisturbed.
In addition, thanks to Unreal Engine, Deadside offers a look that is quite appealing for an indie game:

Kards – The WWII Card Game
Release: April 15, 2020
Platform: Steam
Genre: Deck of cards
The next game we are introducing to you this week may sound a little unusual at first. It's about Kards, a card game in World War II. But behind it is an entirely innovative concept that has already inspired several thousand players in its early access phase on Steam and has received very positive user ratings.
The game is often viewed by its fans as "Magic: The Gathering in World War II" designated. Probably also because it wants to combine very traditional card game mechanics with actual war tactics.
As in a strategy game, the key to success is a healthy mix of infantry, tanks, air forces and supportive artillery fire. You also have to pay attention to the management of resources. This makes the card game amazingly immersive and also looks very good thanks to some nice animations and atmospheric card designs.
Kards is Free2Play and is financed through in-game purchases. Measured by user reviews, the Pay2Win limit, which is often narrow in card games, remains largely unaffected.
