Fortnite on iOS worldwide offline – Apple blocked publication! Epic cannot publish the game in the USA or in the EU.
Epic Games has announced that Apple has blocked the current Fortnite submission, which means that publication on the US app and in the Epic Games Store for iOS in the EU is currently not possible.
As a direct episode of this decision, Fortnite on iOS is offline worldwide until Apple cancel the blockade again. This affects both existing and potential new iOS players.
Epic is disappointed with the situation-especially in view of the efforts to bring Fortnite back to iOS as part of the new EU digital market rules. When or whether Apple will overturn the blockade remains unclear.
