Hello people, we return with another Box Art Brawl edition!
Exactly, first of all, what happened last time ..? Oh yes, we looked at Mario Party 3 for N64! Heh, this is not even at a distance, because the Japanese variant won the day with 84% of the vote. North America succeeded 13%and Europe was lagging behind only 3%.
This week we are holding the N64 with F-Zero X. We initially thought about the F-Zero GX, but Crikey, and the covers are literally the same in all regions. So x is. Launched in 1998, the game can be played on Switchu now if you have membership in Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, which is a good game.
The differences between North America and Europe are so minimal with this one, we just collect them to take over Japan. So let's get to that!
Be sure to give your votes in the survey below; But first, let's check the boxes of the box art itself.
North America / Europe
Western design for F-Zero X is simple, bold, iconic. It works. Logo on top, runners down, with a nice stroke effect on speed on it (as we know, F-Zero has in the shoulder blade). The slogan at the bottom says “Galaxy high speed races!”, And we simply love the use of color in this picture. Wonderful things.
Japan
Japanese design has a western picture there in the center, but there are more. So much more. We have the characters shown at the top, while the logo was moved to the bottom. The lightning jaws adorn the top of the image, and the superior use of the color is expanded in the entire composition.
Thanks for your vote! We'll see you next time another Box art brawl circle.
