Like any other hardware company, Apple creates various prototypes for its products. What happens to them when they are quiet? The Italian collector seems to have some answers, as has recently been done with them various prototypes of the Apple Watch. The devices will launch in 2014, a year before the official launch and are somehow damaged.
Apple Watch Prototypes with the "Star" logo
Speaking to Deputy Vice, Giulio Zompetti said he had bought the tower around twelve recently. His idea is to fix them and put them up for sale. This type of device they usually have different versions of the software than the larger ones
This makes them valuable to the eyes hackers and investigators, because they are easy to access, read and see how to enter normal phone security. Zompetti's plan is to sell them for thousands of dollars, after acquiring them at recycling centers. The devices are broken, as can be seen in the pictures, but the collector hopes to be able to repair them.
Vice has been able to confirm that the serial numbers, QR codes and the "Star" logo appear to indicate that they are true. This logo is standard on Apple product prototypes, as seen in the past. These devices look like they were produced a year before the last launch, in April 2015.
One of the things that draws the attention of these devices is that Hardware seems to be very close to the latter. The most important features can be seen in the photos: battery, chip, internal buttons, heart sensor and aluminum chassis. That shows Apple is working on almost identical designs long before its official introduction.
