The closure of Tango Gameworks by Microsoft was tragic, as the studio had delivered some good titles. The restart of the studio is now taking shape.

The closure of Tango Gameworks by Microsoft a year ago was quite a disappointment, the studio with The Evil Within, Ghostwire: Tokyo and the critical favorite Hi-Fi Rush delivered a few calibers. The studio was obviously not really successful.

At the beginning of the year it became known that the study of the studio was being reopened with the participation of Krafton as a donor and owner of the licenses for the studion name and the Hi-Fi-Rush brand.

Now the revival slowly takes shapes. On the fresh website of the studio it is confirmed that the holy halls are open and even developers are hired to produce a new action game and to let off steam in the in -house creativity.

“In our studio we not only want to play games that in our opinion nobody else can play, but also create a place where creative people can grow by learning from their teammates and getting the chance to try difficult tasks,” writes the studio on its website. “As in a workshop, it can sometimes be chaotic, but the collaboration creates a high -quality game that we would describe as handmade.”

What the studio is broken down is still in the stars, but at least some of the old names from the previous studio are back, except founder Shinji Mikami, who left the tango in 2023. Well, you can be excited to see what Tango Gameworks and Krafton hatch.
