Nintendo has taken a few more recent steps Animal Crossing The game is to stop the time travelers from harming others, but there are obviously some players out there who like to play the game this way. If you head to YouTube or search to cross Animal Crossing on social media, you will no doubt find the island with all the bells and whistles.
Former Nintendo US President Reggie Fils-Aimé has now been dragged into the controversy – with a follower on Twitter who recently asked him when he left (reference to the often controversial style Crossing the Animals: New Horizons). Reggie was well aware of the comments he was referring to, and responded with the following tweet:
In previous Animal Crossing news, time travel may have resulted in broken relationships, too many weeds in your city, and residents asking where you are. Nintendo has battled this type of gaming to some extent in its latest entry, by adding to seasonal events such as Bunny Day.
