A new generation of players will soon experience the classic "Can it run Crysis?" Meme.
"Crysis" has indeed been repaired. Although Crytek has not issued any official statement, the fix was only leaked by the cookie policy page on all places on the official website.
Before the update, the page has been confirmed Crysis Coming soon to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and even Nintendo Switch. In addition to updated visual effects and higher-resolution textures, the remake will also use Cryengine's ray tracing API, which can be used on all hardware regardless of manufacturer (as long as it is powerful enough).
Since then, the text has been deleted from the live page, but the metadata still has the text. There is also a lovely art.
"The Crysis provides the best appearance for first-person shooter fans. The improved and innovative gameplay allows players to adapt to survival in real time. Crysis Remastered brings new graphics features, high-quality textures, and PC, PlayStation , Xbox and Nintendo Switch's Cryengine inherent ray tracing solution has nothing to do with hardware and API.
Both PS5 and Xbox Series X are capable of hardware-based ray tracing, so re-production is likely to eventually appear on the next generation of game consoles.
Given that PS4 and Xbox One will also use it, not to mention Switch, it is likely to be a lite version. As the cat travels, an official announcement is expected soon.
