Video calls are closed these days for Sunday dinners with family and beer when leaving work and friends, and it's the easiest and most convenient way to communicate. Although there are several platforms to do, it can be routine or because it's a widely used messaging app the majority of users have chosen WhatsApp as their app to make video calls.
Unfortunately, it has a limitation we already discuss in our study of how to make video calls through WhatsApp, and that so far the app does not support more than 4 users at a time
It seems like the messaging app has taken a limit on what you say today, and according to what they report on the WABetaInfo page, they have already started allowing a maximum limit of users for each video call.
You'll be able to better communicate with your family and friends, thanks to a new group call limit, available within the following weeks.
This is the best decision that has been made @WhatsApp: we can stay safe at home, but we can meet lots of people we love even though WhatsApp 💚. #RT https://t.co/M0DsObrTmS– WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) April 16, 2020
For now no release date for this new update, but we think WhatsApp will work against the time to bring it to the general public faster, thus preventing its users from going to another app. The latest update is already available in the new header for calls, which is now showing that Our conversation is specifically written to identify the text
On the other hand, if you're an iPhone, iPad or Mac user and don't want to wait for WhatsApp to present its update, you can take advantage of FaceTime, Apple's traditional app for making up to 32 calls and video calls simultaneously.
