One of the benefits of Open Source projects is that it is possible to upgrade other products by allowing your code to be read or repeated. One of the best examples is Chromium, a project based on Google's browser, as well as other unique Android browsers.
One of our favorites is Kiwi Browser, a browser which, after two years of launch, comes as a surprise, and that they released all their source code. This decision is a good one and will help many other browsers to make the most of it.
The Kiwi Browser is fully released, which improves some Android browsers
Kiwi Browser is not a new browser, and we've been talking about it. It is a browser that uses, like many others, Chromium as a base, which provides a great web browsing experience while focusing on its unique features.
Those features can now be read and used by other browsers as long as they respect the license (Kiwi developers use the same Chromium license, so this function can be used as a better base for Chromium).
But what makes Kiwi Browser more special than other browsers? As far as I know how to use a browser, this will be very important:
- Its night mode: instead of using dark Chromium mode, they use advanced and capable of darkening the content of websites.
- Ad blocking: in a simple way we can block annoying ads. In addition to blocking, we will have separate granular controls (although nothing compels you to do so, a brief reminder to tell you that by keeping us out you help The Free Android).
- Chrome Extensions: similar Chrome extensions to the computer, on your mobile phone.
After it is completely uninstalled, these enhancements should start popping up in other browsers. However, if you want to have them, our recommendation is that Install Kiwi Browser, a totally free browser available on Google Play.
