Mouthpieces made from other household items
Many federal states, cities and municipalities are currently discussing the obligation to wear masks, such as when shopping or using public transportation. Despite the current remission, this aims to further slow down the spread of coronavirus. According to expert assessments, masks can only protect healthy people from viral infections to a certain extent, but because the air breathed through the mask is significantly less exhausted, they can reduce the radius of infection.
In most stores and online stores, breathing masks have been sold out for weeks, or provided by suspicious providers at high prices. What should I do? The easiest is to protect yourself temporarily. There are many different instructions on the Internet that can be used to make mouth and nose protection. We will introduce it to you in more detail below.
Mouthpiece made of coffee filter
You can quickly and easily create face masks from coffee filter bags without special sewing or other skills. If you do n’t have a filter bag at home, you can buy it in any supermarket for very little money. In addition, you need to use clips or punches and rubber bands to fix it to the head or neck. Proceed as follows:
- 1. Hit a rubber band or rope on the two clips.
- 2. Now connect it to the coffee filter.
- 3. If there is no clip, use a punch to make two holes in the reinforced side seam of the filter, and then directly tie the carbon tape to the filter.
Alternatively, you can make this mask with a handkerchief or kitchen paper. The steps are the same.
Sewing mouth guards with fabric residues
If you have needle thread or even a sewing machine, you can quickly and easily sew a gas mask from fabric residues, which also looks better compared to coffee filters. There are various instructions on the Internet, you can use them to make a mouthguard within a few minutes. We have linked three very simple instructions for sewing masks below.
If you need a video tutorial, you can find a tutorial by volunteer Feuer Abensberg on YouTube. We will include it below.
In addition to masks, masks can also be made. This makes breathing easier overall. However, sometimes you need some materials from the hardware store. If you are not afraid of it and want to fix it, Apple provides the correct instructions.
