After 23 years, Final Fantasy VII has finally got a remake. The remake doesn't just offer old adventures in a new guise, but much more. We have put together ten things for you that you must have overlooked.
10th place: Jessie, Biggs and Wedge
In the original of Final Fantasy VII, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge were just insignificant secondary characters, the status of which was almost the same as that of extras. For the remake, their roles were significantly upgraded, they were given more background and meaning for the story. Wedge lives with three cats, Biggs leads the vigilante and Jessie was an actress before joining AVALANCHE. In one chapter you even get to know their parents and eat pizza with them. Fun fact on the edge that die-hard Final Fantasy fans already know: The names of Biggs and Wegde are a tribute to Star Wars, because that's also the name of the wingmen of Luke Skywalker at the battle for the Death Star.
