Until April 26th, owners of the Cities: Skylines urban development simulation have the opportunity to get the DLC Cities: Skylines – Parklife free of charge via Steam. You have to do a little something for that, but don't worry, you don't have to sacrifice your soul or a kidney for it. You only need a little red tape, so to speak, to save you the normal price of 14.99 euros.
First of all, as already mentioned, you have to own the main game on Steam. A paradox account is also required. In this account you have to register for the Paradox newsletter and validate your email address. Now you are almost there. Now just subscribe to the Cities: Skylines newsletter and link your Paradox account with your Steam account.
You also have to set your Steam account to "Public" until you receive the DLC so that the team can validate that you actually own the main game. After a maximum of 36 hours, the DLC should then appear in your Steam library. Okay, so a bit of work, but that shouldn't scare fans.
