Crossing the Animals: New Horizons, and Problem with Joy-Con Drift

I won the Animal Crossing villager league earlier. Play dates Crossing the Animals: New Horizons, Marshal squirrel appeared in my camp, and I immediately accepted him as a citizen of my island. I quickly put the power on my switch before the system recorded this huge error in my save file. I restarted New Horizons, find the Marshal, and rewrite my future.

How to avoid the same mistake

I'm telling you this sad story in case you find yourself in a similar situation: Reset your game immediately before saving Animal Crossing. You can save your island relationship if you are fast enough.

After saving Marshal from leaving Odoshima, I found him sitting by the river, bitten by the waves. I freed her from her misery on my net, and we became best friends, ending the success of "True Friends" Nook Miles. Later, he gave me cream and sugar for “less consumption”. After a massive attack earlier this week, when Hamlet the jock hamster was denied a place on my island by Regency Services, it was the happy ending I needed.
