Tube Panic this week he joins the Hamster Arcade Archives collection at the Nintendo switchch in the Shop. The 1984 arcade shooting game was created by Nichibutsu (long before the Hamster Corporation acquired its entire library in 2014) and is considered the first in-game circuit to feature a 3D cycle.
Here's a little more about the game itself, courtesy of the official PR:
The mysterious tube net appears in front of the command ship Marcus as it travels through space. Use the 360 turn in the battleship of enemy ships hiding in the depths of each section, and face the mother ship's vessels waiting to end.
As usual, this is a redesign of the arcade version and comes with additional features such as the ability to change various settings and compete with high scores set by other players from around the world.
This follows from last week's release, which was a 1989 Jaleco shmup, And it's Alpha. Will you be adding Hamster's latest release to your digital collection on Switch? Leave a comment below.
