Google Keyboard is one of the best options for looking for a fast, customizable keyboard (if you take turns having a good part of our data), allow suggestions and integration of machine learning when we write. In the meantime, if we want to paste text we have copied, we have to work with long presses on the screen, as has always been done on Android.
As reported on 9to5Google, Gboard is testing a new type of clipboard suggestionsso that we don't need to do this a long machine, but directly copied the suggestion you gave us from the keyboard itself.
No more shocking a second time
How to copy text on Android is not the fastest. First we choose the text, give it a copy, and paste it should keep it pressed for a moment. Google is already being tested to make the process faster, at least from Gboard.
Copied text will be added to the keyboard suggestion bar. This way you have to click on the suggestion to copy it immediately
As 9to5Google pointed out, after copying text, will be automatically added to the Gboard suggestion bar. We will be shown an icon to show that meaning that comes from the clipboard. Therefore, it will suffice to click on this suggestion to paste the text directly, without the need to do the basics for a long time that we are used to.
For now this work is exploring, so there is no official arrival date. However, based on the positive review rate Gboard has, it is expected that the task will not take too long to reach all beta version users and subsequently to the stable ones.
