In Animal Crossing: New Horizons we can capture a multitude of animals and one of them is sharks. If we want to get one, we will need a lot of time and a lot of luck. Sharks are rare for a reason, they sell for a lot of money, and as such are correspondingly difficult to come by. Depending on the hemisphere in which your desert island is located, it will be more or less difficult to get a shark.
The stations in which sharks appear for the different hemispheres have recently been shared and are as follows:
- Southern Hemisphere – December to March
- Northern Hemisphere – June to September
Sharks are always caught in the BeachThey are creatures that live in the sea, although you may end up being lucky and using your Nook Miles to go to an island with a lot of sharks in the sea.
These are the data on its price and period of time in which each shark species can be caught:
- The great white shark – 15,000 berries – caught between 4 pm and 9 am
- Hammerhead shark – 8,000 berries – caught between 4 pm and 9 am
- Sierra shark – 12,000 berries – caught between 4 pm and 9 am
- Whale shark – 13,000 berries – caught all day
The system for catching them is the same as for catching any other fish. Pull the line when you see its distinctive shark silhouette (and its distinctive fin). Sharks are big, so you have to consider size as well and not just throw your lure. When the shark bites and the lure sinks below the surface, press A to coil the line and collect the shark.
However, it must be taken into account that there are few sharks and they are very far from each other. As mentioned earlier, the shark season differs between hemispheres, so don't be discouraged if you can't get one fast. Remember that the bait also helps fish appear.
