If we have smart speakers or smart screens at home we should teach Google Assistant targeting our voice to get personalized results, such as reminders and favorite playlists, and this is done using Word Matching.
To this day, teaching Google Assistant to recognize our voice we had to repeat their keyword several times "Ok Google". Now that has changed, improving accuracy will now ask us to tell you complete sentences.
When preparing Word Matching now we have to say phrases like "Ok Google, put my playlist to use." In total, four sentences need to be said so that the Helper learns to identify our word best. Not like before, just saying "Ok Google" can confuse a few family members, especially if you've deleted your voice work.
How to teach Helper to recognize your voice
If we want to teach Google Assistant to recognize our voice again, we just have to go to Google's Settings, and in the Auxiliary section, Word Matching. There, we have the option of re-teaching Assistant to identify our voice using new phrases.
You can quickly adjust the sensitivity
As it rained yesterday, Google also confirmed that in the coming weeks we can adjust the sensitivity from the speakers and a good display of the "Ok Google" or "Hello Google" keywords to avoid being misplaced. This adjustment will be made through the Google Home app.
