Conclusion 2 I finally renewed the Long Trials of Osiris this season. But PvP signing mode has always been a much more confusing place for players this season than a happy comeback. In an effort to become more clear about the problems currently facing us Desiny 2, Bungie opened up about its plans to prepare for the Trials of Osiris in the coming seasons.
One of the biggest problems facing the Trials, where the goal is to win as many games as possible before losing three, is a team of cooks. According to Desiny engineering director David Aldridge, cheating is more than 50% inside Conclusion 2 since January, and that number only increased to higher skill levels. This rise in impostors seems to be a mixture of Trials-based motivations for victory and the launch of the game in the free gaming market late last year.
Aldridge has entered Bungie using anti-cheat, and has announced that the studio has tripled its previous season's weekly blockbuster numbers. Aside from gaining more sophisticated technology, many cheats occur on PCs with memory attacks, aimbots, wallhacks, and high-speed switches – but denial of a service attack is successfully eliminated, according to Bungie. Console players are particularly vulnerable to DDoS attacks and heavy exchanges.
Bungie has a few options available to fight an army of new firefighters. First, the studio turns current employees into the problem of cheating, enhances anti-deception, and makes it easier to block rebellious chefs. The studio also made the players aware of a new policy change: Bungie will now punish non-cheating players in a fake suit.
"We now have the right to block or prevent any player who has benefited from cheating, even if they are not fooling themselves," Aldridge said. "This includes situations where players interact with or give account information in a guide or service, and then it deceives them. (…) If you ride (cheat) to a fault, Banhammer will come with it."
This new restriction seems to apply to pre-created teams, so players shouldn't worry about blocking random matches with a cheating character – Tests only allow you to be like a complete Fireteam. In addition, Bungie is looking to include a time investment requirement to get the Trials line. Bungie raises the need for 100 Conclusion 2 hours played into one account. While this may limit the number of players that can compete in the Trials, it does help that restricted players can simply start another account and jump to another game.
"If we are forced to choose, we will choose the Trials as a sanctuary, even if that means few people can play," Aldridge said.
But Osiris tests have more leak problems than full cheats. When players receive a new reward at the Trials of Osiris, they can earn tokens during the game and turn them into Saint-14. Santa will be downgrading one of the player's already earned rewards, allowing the hardcore strikers to bend for the qualifying rounds with the Trials rifles. It's a good idea with a big problem: The best way to plow tokens is to get rid of the first three games on the card, where gameplay is not required and games are usually easy.
To score the tokens, some of the game's best players get a few easy opponents and then reset their card to do it again. This leads to a lot of frustration for the midfielder Joes, some of whom struggle to get one reward in the Trials of Osiris for any given week. We've seen this problem in person at our Trials games, and it's a roadblock to try to navigate.
To fix this problem, Bungie will be adding a token payment system next season. In three wins, five wins, and seven wins, players will receive a significant drop in tokens to use in Saint-14 – significantly increased by Bonus Tokens Passage players. Ideally this will keep the hardcore players from using the latest cards, even if it's not as sure fire as grinding through simple games.
But Bungie also adds something that helps players stick to one or two wins – the ones tossed by the above-mentioned token players. Coming soon, players will receive new, weekly compensation that doesn't require players to win Trials games, only to play. The reward will be for the same gear imitators who find themselves automatically winning three Trials games on one card. The goal is to have more players jump in each week and come out with something to show.
In the end, Bungie is looking to add "Permission Weapons" for flawed players. Same with the Adept program from the beginning Desiny – where players can get the best and cool types of Trials of Osiris Weapons – these rewards are for flawless players (seven winners without a single loss). Bungie's current plan is to provide computer equipment designed exclusively for these firearms, even though the sound is heard in the early hours of the morning and the studio will admit that nothing is set in stone.
According to her weekly blog post, Bungie plans to fix more Conclusion 2 Problems in the coming weeks. On April 30, the studio will reveal what it has learned from its new model of the season, and plans to fix some of its obvious problems.
