accused, cocaine, Man, PlayStation, selling

Last month, the FBI contacted Sony and asked for information about a PlayStation 4 user who has allegedly been using the PlayStation network to sell cocaine for "$ 34,000 per kilogram."

Such as Motherboard reportThe request was made in the form of a search warrant filed on October 22, which required Sony to provide all the company's details about Curtis Alexander [Speedola20 on PSN].

The FBI benefited from an informant to learn about Alexander's alleged activities. They later used it as part of a trapping operation that involved buying 100 grams of cocaine after communicating with the suspect through audio chat and PSN's messaging service.

There is neither a record of the games Alexander should play with the whistleblower, nor a record of whether Sony responded to the request, but the arrest warrant does include excerpts of textual conversations already in the possession of the FBI, such as

The whistleblower: "You are in the game, your ass is talking about me."

Suspect: "No-I played the game and 1 didn't."
