It seems that the next "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" update will appear with a clock frequency of up to 15GB.
Infinity Ward detailed the latest mandatory Modern Warfare update on its blog, but never noticed its huge downloads. Although the update seems to contain only a patch that contains relatively small bug fixes, such as speed adjustments to circles in Warzone, you need 15GB of free space to install it. This is a continuation of a growing trend that revolves around simply accessing the large amount of space required for "modern warfare."
From the blog post, it appears that this update will specifically target console players. It says: “Tuesday ’s update includes the necessary downloads for PlayStation and Xbox, about 15GB, and is necessary to access Modern Warfare.” So if you want to play Modern Warfare on PS4 or Xbox, and want to Weekly play, then you may need to leave considerable space for the patch.
The patch is scheduled to be released tomorrow (April 28) and will obviously be paired with a series of playlist updates. According to Infinity Ward, "Modern Warfare" will get the "shooting ship 24/7" mode, in which "scuffle" and "crank" are added to the mix, as well as a series of "shootout" Variants.
In other "Call of Duty" news, the next "Call of Duty" game seems to be held in Vietnam.
