Nintendo has just won another victory against piracy. On this occasion, those defeated in a court order have been members of a group of hackers called Team-Xecuter, which sold pirated Nintendo Switch consoles, as well as illegal software of various kinds.
Specifically in the court order provided
, it is shown that one of the team members mentioned, Sergio Moreno, from now on you will be prohibited from modifying, selling or distributing any piece without authorization from the hardware or software of the Japanese company.
Despite this, no monetary penalties were imposed of any kind, although everyone involved in the judicial process had to pay for their own means, such as the use of lawyers as well as the cost of the process.
As you will know, Nintendo has been tracking down all traces of illegality on the network for a while
with respect to their intellectual properties, so it was a matter of time before measures were taken against the group.
