Gearbox Software is turning its World War II shooting game series "Armed Brothers" into a TV show.
The new series will be adapted with the help of executive producer and entertainer Scott Rosenbaum. Scott Rosenbaum ’s resume includes V and Queen of the South ( Queen of the South) and other performances. Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford will also serve as the executive producer of the project.
According to the "Hollywood Reporter" report, the adaptation tells the story of eight men who must rescue the colonel from the power of the Axis Powers in order to make the enemy understand the D-Day plan. The show will feature characters from both sides of the war, including realistic characters from the Second World War.
"I like the stories we tell in games. We do have more stories to tell, but TV shows allow us to explore this topic and its impact on relationships from a broader perspective," Randy Pitchford (Randy Pitchford) told the publication.
Rosenbaum said: "The story we finally used was never broadcast on TV." "Nearly 800 American soldiers were killed and must be covered up because the allies are preparing for a true Norman invasion."
This is the second time a Gearbox software game has been adapted from a real person. Currently producing a "Borderless Land" movie with a film directed by Eli Roth.
Gearbox Software's "Brothers in Arms" was originally launched in 2005. The studio canceled plans for the new member of the series – Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 in 2015.
