A terrifying story based on legends and gals folklore
In Maid of Sker we traveled to Wales 1898 to stay in the macabre Hotel Sker, a location that exists in real life and is considered one of the most famous haunted houses in the UK. There is the legend of Elizabeth Williams, the woman who gives the game its name; they tell the stories that his father locked him in a hotel room until he died of a heart attack: we, the players, we will play the musician Thomas Evans, who stays in such a terrifying hotel chased by the ghosts that inhabit it.
Maid of Sker bases its gameplay on non-violent interaction with the environment and enemies: Makes available to the player a series of non-lethal survival tools, also giving him skills as useful in situations like these as holding his breath or standing still. This game doesn't hide its inspiration from other famous horror titles like Dont Knock Twice or SOMA, in fact it has screenwriters who have participated in both projects. Here, one of the main incentives is to recover the Gals folklore and give it a new depth within the video game.
Technologically not only stands out for its graphics, which promise a resolution of 4Kbut also for its 3D sound immersive and immersive and an artificial intelligence that is the core of the experience complete.
The plot of this game will also put us in more of a problem with its multiple dynamic events where we will have to make quick decisions that will end up influencing overall development of history, leaving a line of events that will vary between games and result in different endings, depending on the decisions made.
