We have had to wait a few weeks since its announcement, but it finally comes to Pokmon go the possibility of participate in forays from home without having to be physically in their place. The remote raid passes can already be found in the game store and Niantic, to celebrate this occasion, will bring again some special Pokmon to 5 star raids. We tell you all the details below.
How to participate in remote Pokmon Go raids
Playing remote forays into Pokmon Go is very easy, you just have to follow a few steps for it. The first thing, of course, is have reached level 5 Coach and get a remote raid pass, as Niantic has called the key object that we need to have in our inventory. If we go to the virtual store of the game we will find two offers for this pass.
- Remote raid pass: per 100 Pokonecurrencies (which equals 0.99).
- 3 Remote raid passes: for 250 Pokmonedas.
Also, for a limited time this week premiere players we can purchase a Special bundle of 3 remote raid passes for just 1 Pokone. Once purchased, the rest must be purchased at the normal price mentioned above.
Once we have the remote raid pass in our possession, we just have to select an incursion from the map, or from the corresponding menu from the lower right corner, and exchange it to dispute the raid even if we are not close to it. Darkrai, Giratina Modified Form and Virizion in the five-star raids
In celebration of this new functionality, Niantic has activated new 5-star forays with familiar faces. Specifically, we talk about some special Pokmon that we will have available to capture if we were unable to do so at the time, and also with possibility of obtaining them in variocolor version. We talk about the following Pokmon.
- Darkrai: Available Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 10:00 PM through Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 10:00 PM CEST (1:00 PM PDT, GMT −7).
- Giratina Modified Form: From Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. until Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. CEST (1:00 p.m. PDT, GMT −7).
- Virizion: From Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. until Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. CEST (1:00 p.m. PDT, GMT −7).
Special bonuses for coronavirus

- Double the space to store gifts in our Bag (as well as an opening 1.5 times more of gifts).
- Twice the duration and increased effectiveness in incenses.
- Half the distance needed to hatch eggs.
- Damage increased for Trainers participating in remote raids.
- Elimination of the walk requirement for League Fights Go matches.
