It was rumored in advance that it is now a reality. For the first time, Ubisoft has released tangible information about the new Assassin's Creed that awaits us in 2020 or 2021. However, the teaser is a little different than you might have hoped.

From 2 p.m. Ubisoft streamed live the creation of the first artwork for the game, whereby the setting was officially unveiled for the first time. According to rumors and leaks that have been around for months, this is the world of the Vikings. Guesswork has now become certainty. The artwork confirms the Nordic theme and also indicates the historical classification: the next Assassin's Creed could tell about the Vikings' attacks on England.

Because while for a long time only the silhouette of a man could be seen in the foreground, the interesting part played out in the background. There, on one side at dusk, a picturesque, hilly landscape emerged, on the top of which is possibly a British castle. The other side shows a dark, jagged and snowy mountain range that could belong to Iceland. At the end of the stream, fighting men were finally added to the background to support the thesis of the plot.

The artist engaged by Ubisoft is code "BossLogic" Abdo, known for his impressive unofficial Marvel artwork. You can watch the stream again in detail below.
