Since the release of the Wastelanders DLC for Fallout 76, players have had to deal with an obscure problem that has now finally been fixed by a hotfix.

Since Fallout 76: Wastelanders, his world has become a lot busier, thanks largely to the new human NPCs. The friendly companions also brought a problem into play thanks to their thieving preferences. Some players have found that after their own demise, during certain events they were looted by said NPCs. Not nice when weapons and ammunition stores that have been painstakingly disappeared after the respawn, especially since there was no way to get the clothes back from the NPCs.
That shouldn't happen anymore, because Bethesda has now released a hotfix, which should prevent friendly NPCs from shamelessly using the inventory of your body. A little bit of caution is certainly necessary until the effectiveness of the hotfix is confirmed, but soon you should be able to storm into the events again with your best equipment without fear of being stolen.
Meanwhile, a problem has not yet been solved that ensures that a new garbage collection robot with a so-called look will spam you vigorously with Communist propaganda.
