The new JRPG of Nintendo Switch, Revenge of Justice, has created certain controversies related to its similarity with a popular title currently available on PC.
Now in a new statement from the developer City connection and the distributor Kemco, both companies have apologized for the similarity of the game with Harusuberiya Jojishi 2, which has been heavily criticized by fans. The companies have revealed that after an investigation, they found that the game was used as a reference for certain scenarios, arrangements, character adjustments and even for the dialogue of Revenge of Justice.
The creator of the series Harusuberiya, Yashioji, has spoken to confirm that he was not involved with the title of Kemco, and at the same time he has said that he has no problems publishing the game. In fact, Yashioji was in discussions with Kemco and City connection, and agreed to continue sales of the game on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan.
Certainly many players pay close attention to detail and know how to recognize when one game has too many similarities to another, and this time they have not been wrong. What do you think?
