Oddworld Inhabitants, Inc. and Microids have proven that Oddworld: Oddysee's Munch will be moved to Nintendo Switch later this month. You will be able to get your hands on it from the 14th of May.
The game, which was thought to be a first for Swingch with an ESRB rating made earlier this year, will launch the program in digital format that day. Physical planning is also a chore, but that will come "later this year".
The game has made you play as Munch for the titch, joining Abe in an action-adventure platformer. She alternates between both of these characters depending on the situation, using special psychic powers, super powers, and other special abilities to develop. Here is the official description from Switch eShop:
How would you feel if you broke your leg in a snare trap, kidnapped by lifeless scientists, had an external device attached to your skull, and d iscovered that your race was hunted for extinction?
It is up to you to help guide Munch in his quest to rescue fellow creatures through trials. These critics will remain loyal to Munch and allow his escape. Once they are free, Munch's forces meet with Abe and jointly are guided by the wisdom of the Almighty. They are informed of how to achieve their goals, but in order to do so, they must work together. For Munch, his dream is to recover his species from extinction. For Abe, rescuing his Mudokon friends.
Using special powers, cool powers, and other special abilities to bring back the Vykkers, Abe and Munch re-take the last gabbit eggs from Oddworld, which are wrapped in a gabbiar barrel. May Odd help you!
It will be available for $ 29.99 / £ 26.99 when it launches next month, although 33% discounts are available from now until the 31st of May at the European store.
