In early April, computer hardware maker Gamevice filed a new complaint for copyright infringement against Nintendo and filed a previously lost lawsuit. While some people may have thought this was a joke, given the timing of the news, we can assure you it is not.

In fact, Gamevice's ongoing patent war against Nintendo and Switch seems to be back on track – well, sort of.

Engadget reports The International Trade Commission has decided to move ahead with a "proof" hearing after Gamevice asked the ITC to issue a "limited release order and cease and desist order" against the switch.

It is absolutely amazing that everything is possible and not long ago, especially when the US Patent and Trademark office released Gamevice controllers "inappropriately" in March. Although the Patent Trial and Appeal Board has dismissed all 19 cases against Nintendo, the ITC clearly believes it is worth considering.
