On April 14, we learned of the death at 79 years of Rick May, famous voice actor known for Lylat Wars, Sly 3, Age of Empires 2, but also Team Fortress 2, which interests us today.
Iconic voice actor of Peppy in Lylat Wars, Rick May was also known to have been the voice of The Soldier in Team Fortress 2. In the very last update of the game, there was mention of an addition in tribute to Rick May, without us knowing exactly what it was.
Since then, many players have posted screenshots of their games on Reddit, showing that this addition is a series of statues of the character, with a base on which there is a plate paying homage to the doubler. We haven't been able to verify this yet, but it looks like some lines of dialogue from The Soldier are firing near these statues.
