Call of Duty: The Verdansk map of the theater will change with the next season of the game.
Since its launch, Call of Duty: War Zone Has an unresolved main Easter egg, which contains many bunker doors hidden around the game map. Try as much as possible, whether it is to solve the mystery or through pure brute force, the player has never found a way to enter these bunkers.
According to Warzone co-developers Infinity Ward and Raven, this will change as season 4 changes, and they hinted at a major change in the Verdansk map in the next season.
"Essentially, everyone is still trying to figure out what happened, who is responsible for what happened in Verdansk, and why the gas was deployed to unite us together," Taylor Kurosaki, the narrative director of Infinity Ward, told Gamergen.
"We will continue to provide more information to players and provide more Easter eggs. As they continue to find out the answer and dig deeper, the map will change and develop."
More specifically, Kurosaki pointed to the hidden Warzone bunkers and stopped the news confirming that they will open sometime next season.
Indeed, the latest Warzone patch adds Red Access Cards, which is an extremely rare item that may eventually cause players to open the door. Behind the scenes, the patch also introduces new animations for the actually opened bunker door, indicating that changes are about to occur.
"Players have discovered that they haven't seen other parts of Verdansk. They have found clues in this city that not only have eyes," he explained.
"Season 4 will solve some of these mysteries and solve some of them for our players. As the Verdansk battle progresses, things will become more desperate," he added, revealing that future seasons will Introduce new characters (operators) and expand the world story. "
As the story evolves with each season, Warzone's gameplay will also evolve. Amos Hodge, Raven ’s creative director, confirmed that not only can we expect new modes, but the team is also studying new items that players can rob, including some items that you ca n’t load.
Hodge revealed: "Therefore, we will release a new model and we are developing new content-new items you can put into the game."
"In BR and Plunder, you will find some new items, which are not within your loading range, to increase gameplay and predatory nature. For example, there will be new live upgrades. Therefore, we usually perform new battlefield upgrades, New modes and new loot, you can add some new spices to the game when it loads. "
Given how Activision plans Warzone to survive with future Call of Duty games, it makes sense that this model will continue to develop in the coming months and even years. We just have to wait and see how interesting things will become.
