In 1999, our librarian received a gift: a brilliant Jedi Master by the name of Yaddle. This Jedi Master was a female member of the Yoda variety. He has never appeared in any video games, but that will change if LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga to be released later this year. Finally.
Yaddle appeared a few episodes earlier star Wars prequel, 1999 & # 39; s The Phantom Menace. But he wasn't featured in other movies or TV shows following this short look. The worst part is that he never appeared in a video game. While characters such as Dexter Jettster and Correct B. Crumb have come up in various forms star Wars video games, Yaddle is ignored by game developers. They were all afraid.
However, New interview released today on the official Star Wars website it has surpassed that Yaddle will be a playable character in the new LEGO Star Wars a game that will come out later this year.
Craig Derrick, who controls the producer at the Lucasfilm competitions, is asked how many characters in the show and who are some of his favorites. Toward the end of his answer, he dropped a bomb.
"Of course, we have almost all of your favorite heroes and villains from the movies, most of the actors behind the scenes, a few surprises, and …Yaddle! ”
Hell yeah! I agree with the excitement that the exclamation mark seems to mean. For fans, it only took two decades but the world will finally have Yaddle in the video game.
Jedi Master Yaddle is a character with an incredible amount of fun animation and storytelling around him, both in old and new canons. And being one of the only Yoda-type members we've ever seen, he's an amazing and important character. And in time Baby Yoda may be hot right now in Star Wars, people should remember who came before this lovely scale. Yaddle. (And no, Yaddle is not Yoda's mom or aunt. At least, I don't think that…)
I reached out to the WB and TT Games to see if they could confirm that my historic post about Yaddle has something to do with this good news. Anyway, this is a great day and one I thought would never happen. But it is possible. Thanks to the Maker.
