An emblematic company on the Japanese scene, Koei Tecmo is known for several successful licenses, such as Dead or Alive or Dynasty Warriors. She is also responsible for the very popular Nioh, Souls-like from Team Ninja, the second episode of which appeared last March.
It is precisely based on the success of Nioh that the company based in Yokohama hopes to reach colossal sales with its next big production. In an article published by the Nikkei, founder Yoichi Erikawa announces that his team is counting on 5 million sales for a new license "currently in its final phase of development"Unfortunately we won't know any more for the moment, Erikawa adding with a laugh that he cannot specify if it is a"historical experience"or not, an area in which Koei Tecmo excels.
