Even if Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice It is one more extension of the Soulsborne formula that has characterized From Software so much this last decade, it was the first of all this string of games in scrap online multiplayer. Of course, the community is always ready to take it further.
The mod is now available Sekiro Online for PC. As its name suggests, it consists of add a multiplayer mode to Miyazaki's latest work. It is developed by user LukeYui and can be downloaded right here. If you want to see it in motion, we leave you with a sample video.
The mod adds both PvP combat and a cooperative mode, in case you need help in any final boss. Mind you, all progress is in sync, so if you defeat the boss in another player's game, it will apply to yours too.
You will notice some strange movements in the characters, and that happens for several reasons. On the one hand, the mod is still in beta, so it is subject to many more patches and improvements. On the other hand, its creator explains that this is something he has done in his spare time, and therefore does not have the experience or resources of From Software to reproduce a perfectly functional online game.
Not to mention that the combat system of Sekiro it is not intended for PvP. Even so, it is already a fairly fluid solution for what it intends, as well as a great job on the part of LukeYui. In the absence of an official online mode, this mod more than fulfills its mission, and surely PC users will be able to enjoy it.
