With the advent of the powerful PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and the incredible leadership of the Nintendo Switch these past few months, it seems that the arrival of the new Nintendo Switch Pro, the "new generation" of consoles for Nintendo, has a rather strange and complicated framework ahead, at least from the point of view of the good life the house hybrid continues to have.
Much has been rumored about Nintendo Switch Pro, its price and release date have even been predicted. and it has been speculated with new details of the console due to the Switch update 10.0.0. But this is all borage water as Nintendo itself has grown weary of making sure that there is no Nintendo Switch Pro model, although seeing what is coming upon them, it seems complicated to me that the Big N don't upgrade their hybrid to give it a little more longevity.
It is possible that Nintendo has nothing in mind for this 2020, but it seems almost impossible for us not to work in a system for 2021, more than anything for the substantial leap that will represent PS5 and Xbox Series X on many levels. We will agree that Nintendo will play in a different league than Sony and Microsoft, at least if nobody stands up to him on his own land, although Alienware's ConceptUFO could be an unexpected rival.
Nintendo Switch Pro: a very different war
There is no doubt, at least from me, that Nintendo will not use the same weapons as Sony and Microsoft
But that's not the whole story of Nintendo Switch bestseller on the international scene, it is their great versatility as laptop and desktop, being able to launch titles like The Witcher III: Wild Hunt or the revamped version of Skyrim or Doom in a console that can be easily taken on the road, that's why it is strange to me, with everything that comes graphically with PS5 and Xbox Series X, which Nintendo does not supercharge the Switch Or create a new console to continue maintaining its level in the market.
It is obvious that Nintendo doesn't need feats at the hardware level to maintain its comfortable position in the industry, with a platform that has become the indies favorite house and where AAA games have found a second home. I doubt that Nintendo will not move to avoid losing this reign and establish a new one that ensure all Switch users follow you Every where I go.
This is not an easy thing today, because Nintendo needs to play its cards well, betting on a hybrid that is truly capable of adapting to the demands of the new graphic environments, although these may receive a downgrade to “avoid” limitations of a less powerful system than PS5 and Xbox Series X. This is already something that Nintendo has achieved, so I don't think it will be so difficult to replicate it, unless can't count on limited but solvent hardware.
Survive your own legacy
It is clear that the Nintendo's main competition is Nintendo itself right now, so you can breathe easy, but without forgetting to do your homework and listen to the industry
It is known that it is not easy replicate the success of a console to a new console, but this is where Nintendo can have an ace up its sleeve, since it does not need to redo what it already has (contrary to PS5 and Series X), but only needs polish and thoroughly review the improvable, as a screen with more resolution and larger size, better autonomy, improvement in fps and game resolutions and of course moderate but necessary GPU, CPU and RAM improvements in order to generate this new reality.
Without this renewal, there is a possibility that Nintendo did not survive its own legacy and it could not gain a foothold as important in the console market as it maintains today. If the Sony and Microsoft consoles are blurring the limit with high-end PCsNintendo needs to erase and expand its own horizon for fans to follow looking forward to having one of their hybrids despite having other systems in their possession.
Queen of the new generation?
If you do a little memory, you will remember that there were many who saw the impossible as something Nintendo will come to lead the console race
It not only offers the possibility of being able to take it with you and play a triple AAA on the bus, but it has such good and own titles that can only be enjoyed in it. It is more than likely that Switch Pro will never be the head console of a hardcore gamer, but it is that they are not the only relevant ones in the market, but there are many gamers (including hardcore) that love Nintendo franchises, so this is an absolutely priority claim for the company.
If we add to this a more capable, more powerful hybrid with a better design, able to please the same audience of the Switch and make new friends, Nintendo Switch Pro could be the queen of the show, because we necessarily need to have it if we want to play titles of sagas that have never disappointed with their deliveries.
What do you think? Do you think that Nintendo Switch Pro will see the light in a more powerful way And what polishes the "defects" of Switch? Or do you think Nintendo will try to innovate with a completely different system facing the new generation? Tell us everything!
