The Podcasts app, though it may seem easy at first, does hide some difficulties. With this app we know subscribe, download and play episodes, discover new programs and much more.
Before we get started, let's be clear about the concept: Podcast. This funny word comes up pod which means "plate" in English also cast which is the abbreviation "stream", that is, stream. Application for Podcasts it is divided into four tabs: Listening, A library, Check y Search. The first two tabs allow us to view, play and manage our podcasts, while the second allows us to find new content to listen to, add to the library or subscribe; Let's see you in detail:
- Tab SearchAs its name implies, it allows us to find content. We can search for shows or episodes and we can do it among all those available on the platform, Apple Podcasts or on our device only.
- Tab Check it helps us find new content. In this tab we see various categories, such as New and installed either It is important, in the App Store style. At each stage Apple presents it cool new shows.
Let's get into context: we were just looking for "Applesfera" on the tab Search and we see the results. These divide between Plans y Episodes. In this case, we are interested in the program as a whole because of what we played on "Infinite Loop", which is one of our podcasts.
Here we see it unfold all program information: Its name, author, short review and, most of all, episodes. What can we do here? Three things:
- Register us: touching the button Register We will add the program to our library and will be able to access all the episodes without having to constantly search for them. Also, we may receive notifications when new episodes are published.
- Listen to the episode: If we are only interested in a particular episode, listening to it is very easy, we simply touch it and play plays first.
- Keep a future episode: if, again, we are interested in an episode, but want to hear it later, we'll touch the "+" that appears next to the episode to add it to our library.

Listen and Library: Our Subscriptions and Content
Tabs for Listening y A library allow us to manage content that is, or subscribe or add manually to the library. Tab Listening is the simplest, showing only two parts: Below y Recently played. The first teams all the episodes we were waiting to listen to or listened to, secondly all we had played. It should be noted that at that stage Below podcasts are programmed, if we want to access a particular episode we can hit the button Episodes X appears under each heading.

- Plans: when we see all the programs we are subscribed to.
