It was quiet for a while about Techland's Dying Light 2 and rumors of a studio sale got around, but now there is at least a little sign of life from the Polish developers.

Dying Light 2 is truly a difficult birth. Most recently, the zombie survival title was heard in January when it was postponed more or less indefinitely. In the meantime, there were even rumors that the developer studio had been bought by Microsoft.
But now there is actually a sign of life from Techland that gives hope, but without giving specific dates. Techland's PR manager Oly Sondej said on Twitter that Techland continued to work independently and was not taken over by a publisher. The rumor is based on an incorrect translation.
In case you guys wondered, Techland was not acquired by another publisher. We're still an independent studio, and will deliver Dying Light 2 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The development of Dying Light 2 should therefore progress and it remains that it will be released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. When, however, remains open. We are excited.
