The fight between Qualcomm and Mediatek in the parallel processor market had been long overdue. The American company is the most successful scorer, but in recent months it looks like we are seeing a re-emergence of a Chinese company, at least in high-end processors.
In November 2019, it unveiled the Mediatek Dimensity 1000, its first 5G chipset that enables it to rival the Snapdragon 865 from Qualcomm.
Shortly thereafter, he announced a new model for the same family, but focused on cheap mobiles, even though he has 5G. It was Dimensional 800.
Today the company introduced a new processor, placed at the top of its catalog, ahead of the aforementioned: Mediatek 1000+ size.

This processor is a Vitamin version of Dimensity 1000. It will have eight cores arranged in two categories. The first one will have four cores of the 2.6 GHz Cortex A77 and the second one will have four more, but in this case the 2 GHz Cortex A55.
The new HyperEngine 2.0 program will allow you to extend the mobile to make the gaming experience more equal.
In addition to the extra power, this processor will allow you to have two SIM cards and a 5G connection in both cases. As well as that, we have memory support up to 16 GB of RAM for technology, as well as UFS 2.1 storage.
In communication we have 5G radio, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and FM radio. Up to 80 Mpx cameras if only a cell phone uses one or up to 32 Mpx if multiple.
Focus on the screens
But the biggest improvement of this processor is the screen. It will allow the use of mirrors with a refresh rate of 144 Hz (the highest in the market today) and will use MiraVision technology to improve the transmission of color.
Using the AI-PQ system, the Dimensity 10000+ can dramatically change the contrast, sharpness and color of the entire video period, improving image quality in real time.
Although support for the HDR10 + has not been announced, the company suggests that its MiraVision Picture Quality engine program offers better image quality than the standard HDR10 +. In addition, this technology allows SDR videos to be transmitted to HRD in real time, even on 4K broadcasts.
It is expected that the first calls with this active system will arrive in the second half of the year, starting in China.
