Apple has registered a new patent in which they outline what future video calls can be like using Memojis and unpleasant virtual reality. And the vision is promising.
The permission in question is entitled "Communication plan and how to provide a direct meeting room" and is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office under 20200143578.
We're talking about the video call type in "Star Wars" style and its holograms. A video call in which participants will be able to use avatars in the form of Memojis and will be able to see the movements of others and interact with them in one virtual room.

This is how Apple sees future video calls
A patent was created apparently after the outbreak of this type of video conference due to a rare disease with COVID-19. The patent describes how to create a communication system that will be able to redefine the physical room of all participants in a video call.
"How to display the contact surface visible on the device screen and detect the user's biometric user characteristics."
It shows how users can use it Animojis and Memojis such as avatars and how this can mimic the movements of each user's face. Yet Apple describes it not as the most exciting way to attend a meeting, but as the most effective way to improve communication.
"References and other usefulness of familiar characters in a virtual encounter environment can enhance a person's sensitivity and perception."
The patent reminded us of those futuristic spacecraft movies where video conferencing was made with holograms. Only instead, it would be on a mobile device screen.
