If only a few hours ago we were telling you that Sunny would be the first generation game to skip the Xbox One, now it's another chance. This is Medium, the game announced on Inside Xbox will arrive on the Xbox Game Pass on launch day.
Its creators, Bloober Team, confirmed that The Medium bet on being the next special kindThis means that there will be no kind of comfort for the current generation. All of this, even though it was announced some time ago to comfort others. In the end, that idea required energy that only new equipment could provide the studio.
Only the power of the new generation gave us the tools to make the game we wanted, which is why we have waited this long.
Medium exclusive to Xbox Series X
For now the game will only come to the Xbox Series X and later to the PC. But maybe it will eventually come to other platforms. Regarding some future port of current generation comfort, it seems unlikely because the game uses some hardware, such as SSD.
Wojciech Piejko, game designer at Bloober Team, has insurance that lack of loading times and current hardware made The Medium just what they wanted it to be.
Some have already distinguished The Medium, as one of Silent Hill's spiritual successes, but will have to wait to see if it is true.
