A few weeks ago, we told you that an often well-informed American journalist had said that Sony planned a presentation of the PlayStation 5 in early June. Today, the turn of another very reliable journalist to drive the nail a little more.

Jason Schreier, famous American journalist formerly of Kotaku now at Bloomberg, was earlier today the guest of Press Start Podcast.
During the latter, one of the hosts of the show could not help asking him if he had information about Sony's plans regarding the presentation of the PS5. What the journalist from countless sources obviously had:
Because of COVID-19, we are currently in an atmosphere which means that nothing is set in stone until two days before D-Day (…) Sony and Microsoft are constantly changing their plans. As far as I know, Sony is still on track to do at least one thing by early June, or let's say by mid-June.
What Jason Schreier says therefore goes in the direction of the date of June 4 recently given by Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat. Jason Schreier insists, however, that because of the coronavirus pandemic, this situation could change again in the coming days. It is more interesting to note that the journalist speaks of "at least one thing." Which would suggest that, at best, the Japanese manufacturer could do things in several stages.
