The popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been extended beyond the title of Nintendo Switch, and Nookazon It is an app that appeared to give value in the real world to the work done in the game.
The website allows players to buy and sell in-game items for virtual currencies, which appears to have been a great success. In a recent interview with the Washington Post, the creator of Nookazon, Daniel Luu, confirmed that he has almost 270,000 daily active users and more than nine million listings, with more than seven million visits per day.
This impressive figure has been a burden for the creator, as confirmed in the interview:
I have removed many hobbies, such as watching YouTube, and now I spend most of my free time on the site. However, I don't care because I love working on it, and I would probably be creating another app or website if I wasn't with Nookazon. This is my first side project that explodes like this… I've done many applications before, but handling this kind of volume… I never had to do something like this before, so I had to learn a lot from the database point of view and that made the website much faster.
