Natsume Inc. and Rising Star Games has announced Moon Harvest: One Earth for Nintendo Switch, "a new way to explore Harvest Moon for experienced players and new generations alike".
Set to launch this spring, the game will feature emerging farmers exploring a world full of "new faces and familiar faces, unique villages and big issues", all while managing their growing farm. The new title is built with a new engine and graphics.
Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume, shared the following in a media statement:
"Vintage Month known as. The new engine and new graphics will enhance this 2020 experience. We are excited to share more about the features of Harvest Moon: One World in the coming months."
No screenshots or trailers have been released yet (we have the above image to go on now), but we have our first game details that are the way of this official confirmation:
Can you imagine a world without tomatoes, strawberries, or cabbage? The latest entry in the Harvest Moon series, is the scene the players will find themselves in. It is the only old book that gives clues to what it once was. What kind of people and places are expected? From the beautiful Halo Halo beaches to the snowy mountains of Salmiakki, there is a whole world to explore.
Back in January, Natsume President Hiro Maekawa teased about "fun new projects". It certainly looks like this must be one of them.
