While Vikendi has given itself a new youth with its redesign including Dino Land and a train for more gameplay possibilities, the team of PUBG Corp. was not long in coming to reveal other new features with the 7.2 update, coming in test this May 13.
The main change in this update is for the most frequent players with a Class amlior mode : available solo, teams of 2 or 3 and in FPP and TPP, it will offer a clearer and more rewarding progression system.
The players will obtain their classification after several placement matches then can go up or down in the competitive scale, from the rank of Bronze Master. Vikendi will not be available in Class mode for this first experimental season. Rewards depending on the rank obtained will be offered at the end of the season.
Then a weapon rebalancing will bring more power to the pump rifles and a rebalancing of the AR to harmonize their power. There are also changes to the barrels to open up new strategies: it can be emptied over a distance traveled in 7 seconds and ignited for a few minutes, until it disappears. It can therefore be used to pick up areas.
Finally, other minor changes are made, such as user interface improvements, bug fixes, audio improvements and the addition of a few houses in Vikendi. The deployment date of update 7.2 on live servers has not yet been announced.
