Unreal Engine 5 will be available for preview in early 2021, and will be fully released in 2021, supporting next-generation confusion, current-generation consoles, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
In a similar announcement, Epic explained how it was designed to keep up-front – so that developers could start developing "next" on UE4 and transfer their projects to a new engine when they were ready.
