This new manga will be drawn and written by Kokonasu Runpa and the first volume will be published in the next June issue of the Coro Coro Comics magazine of the Shogakukan publishing house. In recent months Runpa had already published a couple of stories for the magazine. one-shot based on the Nintendo video game, but according to sources it seems that the intention now is to start a much longer and more ambitious serialized manga.
It is not the first time that the Nintendo saga receives an adaptation to the cmic, last December 2019 the game inspired the creation of a manga written and illustrated by Minori Katou, titled Atsumare Doubutsu no Mori: Nonbiri Shima Dayori (Animal Crossing: New Horizons Carefree Island News).
