Fast-paced games are a small studio, but are well-known by players in Virtual Reality environments because of their titles, Apex Initiation and Budget Building 2: Establishment of equipment. In addition to starring in the curious and original anecdote less than a year ago, because thousands of people accidentally bought it from Steam after the surprise launch of Apex Legends; They had no trouble returning the money to the confused poor.
So far, the studio hasn't opted for an action game, but they have decided to create a product they're familiar with. The Curious Tale of Stolen Pets reminds us of Allumette, a brief summary of the bugs that arrived in the early days of PlayStation VR. Because he shares that style and that sense of product, in a way that wants to surprise us as if we were kids again in front of a new toy.
That confusing article, which sets us up for frustration, hides a common account. And since we like to make things clear, even for many animals, we want to make it clear that no pets were really caught up in making this product. What happens is that some are lost. Oh, and we want to record that we disagree with that by calling the tyrannosaurus rex or seagull "pets". The bottom line is that, in game development, it works.
It all starts with our great grandfather showing us how well he has played some fun games with my sister. His tone suggests from that moment that something had happened between us, that the relationship was not as he would have liked. It is the first point of a mindless journey through childhood memories.
The exposition of this world in this game is in the form of small floats throughout the universe, three-dimensional diaries to be moved around or to be removed in search of hidden coins and lost animals. You brace yourself with a walking stick in each hand, seeing it from above as a deciding god, even though you can play with DualShock and move it with sticks. Sometimes it is enough to focus the cursor on fun, but in most cases you have to steer it as if it were a skill box. For example, to make a teacup complete or get a train to continue and reach its destination. Here it reminded us of the Ghost Giant, but it's simple. And it's short, because we have completed its five levels an hour, more or less.
It's a while, but it's all so exciting and so beautiful in its beauty. These little characters that travel through this short world are fascinating, and the animals you find have their own sound and personality effects, always evoking that feeling of being in front of toys. Many VR projects choose large and open spaces, as if they feel that doing so doesn't take advantage of this scale, but Curious Tale's Stolen Pets shows that often large immersions are found in small spaces and closed, as does Job Simulator or Astro Bot Rescue Mission. Plus, it allows you to play seated, even if it's good to get up from time to time to burst, and feel that way.
We found it to be a fantastic product, but following that line of honesty that we've bragged about before, we should also say that we didn't feel like playing ahead. The level of difficulty is raised instead of infants and children, so an adult will not live up to the wonder they can find. However, the nostalgic approach to this story is for more mature people, so the recipient is skeptical. That said, we see it as something good for newcomers to Virtual Reality, a low-energy, fun-loving and short-lived experience.
